Today is the DAY 8 of our Proverbs 31 Woman Prayer & Affirmation Challenge! We are going to be praying through Proverbs 31:17-18:
She girds herself with strength,
And strengthens her arms. She perceives that her merchandise is good,
And her lamp does not go out by night.
In yesterday’s prayer & affirmation, we focused on what it means to go to great lengths to nourish, nurture, and tend the needs of your family. You can get caught up with yesterday’s lesson here!
Remember, each day’s prayers are 100% based upon the verses found in Proverbs 31:10-31. In this way, our prayers, affirmations, and confessions are aligned with scripture will help us to become more a virtuous woman. (aka our “Virtuous Woman Prayers.”)
Many call this “praying through scripture.” It’s very foundational in praying prayers that God hears and answers. (Please see 1 John 5:14-15 for more on this.)
Today’s video lesson we will be praying and affirming about understanding the worth and value of your work. There is strength, confidence, and dignity in a woman who knows her worth and the value she brings to the lives of others no matter where she goes.
If you are also going through our Proverbs 31 Woman Bible Study, then today’s lesson pairs perfectly with Day 8 of that study!

Proverbs 31 Woman Prayer & Affirmation Challenge – Day 8
Prayer
Lord, help me to understand the worth and value of my work and how to strengthen myself from a Holy source of power.
I know there is a difference between spiritual strength and physical strength. Help me to focus on becoming strong in my character, spirit-man, and soul!
Hold me together by the strength of joy in You – the kind that comes from Your Holy source! For I know it takes supernatural strength to walk fully and confidently, as you have designed me, Lord.
My place is invaluable to the kingdom of God and my family! What I have to offer is necessary for others around me to thrive. I desire to be confident in the value of my work and to be confident in what I bring to the table for my family and the kingdom of God. You say that I am priceless!
May my work bring excitement, fulfillment, and joy to my life!
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Confession & Affirmation
My work is valuable and worthy.
I am confident in my gifts, talents, and skills.
My place in the Kingdom of God is invaluable and priceless. There’s no one who can do what I do because God created me for such a time as this.
I choose to rise up in that truth and bring Glory to God by the full, exhausted use of all He’s put into me to pour out into the earth.
I walk in a Holy source of strength. It stems from joy unspeakable!
Daily I am becoming strong in my character, spirit-man, and soul.
My work brings me excitement, fulfillment, and joy!
I decree and declare this over my life, as according to Proverbs 31:17-18
And it is so — Amen.

Thanks for the lesson and prayer, I have so enjoyed the lesson. Learning about my worth. I have always tried to be the best at whatever I was doing, and sometimes I feel like it’s not good enough, or unappreciated, but I come to myself and say it’s unto the Lord, and the Joy of the Lord is my strength ,and I feel better about what I’m doing!
