This Christian prayer, affirmation, and confession focuses on the scripture Proverbs 18:16 – Your gift will make room for you!
Scripture
A man’s gift makes room for him
and brings him before the great.
(Proverbs 18:16)
Prayer
Dear Lord,
I thank you for the gifts you’ve given me. I know they are good and perfect. They are also given to me without repentance, so I could use them for any purpose.
Instead, I choose to use my gifts to bring you Glory and allow your Glory to be revealed in the earth through me.
I ask you to reveal all my gifts to me, so I may get full use out of them for your Glory.
However, you choose to do that I fully accept it and choose to walk in it with confidence.
I thank you in advance for the open doors, the wide rooms, and the great people I will be able to cross paths with because of the gifts you’ve given me.
Please allow all of these opportunities and interactions to build the Kingdom and make your name GREAT!
In Jesus Name, Amen.
Affirmation & Confession
I have good and perfect gifts that are from God. I was given these gifts from my mother’s womb.
Any gifts I am unaware of I know God will reveal those to me through the Holy Spirit.
I choose to use my gifts to glorify God and to allow his Glory to be revealed in the earth.
I fully accept and receive the open doors, room entrances, and great people God chooses for my life to cross paths with.
I will use these opportunities to build the Kingdom and make the Lord’s name GREAT!
I am full of confidence and assurance that God’s given me every gift he desires me to have and that it is a PERFECT fit for my life.
I have no need to envy or covet another’s gift.
My gifts are for me. Their gifts are for them.
Instead, I choose to become masterful with my gifts!
I will stand before great men and women!
I will Glorify the Lord at all times!
